Work
With the intention to communicate an important alliance between French design and innovation school Boisbuchet and Australian Design and Craft Institution JamFactory, French Exchange was an exhibition designed to tell a story - and put into context the scholarship program rewarded to JamFactory associates annually. Inspired by the Boisbuchet experience, where creative workshops are carried out using materials and objects foraged from the grounds, the exhibition design was centred around using materials entirely from byproduct found in various JamFactory faculties. Materials such as stainless steel, copper and timber were left in their various shapes and sizes, and clamped to screens in methods that meant they could be returned to JamFactory afterwards, unchanged, for future use.
